Planning a birthday, celebration, corporate gathering, reception or special event? Kalalou offers our Fort Lauderdale venue for private events and customized gatherings designed around what you have in mind.

Private Events at Kalalou

We do not offer preset private event packages. Every event is different, so our team works with you directly to understand your vision, guest count, preferred date and time, food and beverage needs, entertainment and other event details.
 
Start With a Private Event Request

Complete the Private Event Request Form below and tell us a little about your event, including what you're celebrating, estimated number of guests, preferred date and time, menu preferences and any special requests.
You can also let us know if you're interested in things such as a custom menu, bar service, DJ or entertainment, décor, special setup, reserved areas or full venue rental.
 
Once your request is submitted, a member of the Kalalou team will contact you shortly to discuss your event, availability and next steps.

This is my third time to this restaurant. I can truly say 3 times is a charm. It's not a coincidence. I rated it a 5 star the first time and this remains true. This restaurant is a great place to go if you're looking for a Haitian restaurant you can sit and enjoy a nice meal. Food is excellent and service is top of the line. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Great first impression! Stopped in to order takeout around 8pm, sat at the bar and was greeted by Mendi who took our order and kindly answered a few questions about the menu. The manger Martelli was wonderful, he checked in on us while we waited and invited us for their weekend night where they are open until 4am, (kitchen closes at 3am!), have live bands, and great vibes!

The food was on another level. In my opinion, it was worth the price. The food was well-seasoned and plentiful. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.


The only thing I'm sad about is the small mistakes that were made with our takeout food order.
They offered to make it right, but unfortunately, we live two hours away.
